Bill Philps

Bill was initially a client of Meta in 2003. He has 25 years experience of building and developing businesses in the Services Sector and has been successful in developing and managing cohesive management teams.

Bill was Managing Director of Galago Ltd, part of the OCS Group, now re-branded OCS Security, which provides integrated security solutions to corporate and SME clients. During his tenure the business grew profitably from a turnover of some £30m to £50m.

Prior to this he was CEO of The Bateman Group which offered contract cleaning and staff catering services. Bill’s experience and contacts in this area mean that Meta can provide a niched industry expertise which is already recognised by trade participants and the private equity markets.

Bill is now working with Meta as an Associate to assist with research and transactional activity in the Facilities Management sector, with particular emphasis on manned guarding and contract cleaning.
